In keeping with the campaign mission of focus on the voters, the issues and the mission at hand, Marc has secured the support of Shawano County Sheriff Randall Wright, Marinette County Sheriff James Kanikula, and Door County Sheriff Terry Vogel in his race for the 8th Congressional seat in Wisconsin.

“I believe that Marc will take seriously ‘the pulse of his constituents’ and has the experience, knowledge, commitment, and integrity to best represent the residents of Marinette County and the 8th Congressional District in Washington,”

said Kanikula. Sheriff Wright agreed,

“I believe Marc Savard will listen to, and work for the residents of Shawano County. With 8 years of experience in county government, he understands the concerns and challenges law enforcement officers face across the 8th district.”

Sheriff Vogel is closely familiar with Savard’s work and echoed Wright’s statement,

“Marc served on our Law Enforcement committee here in Door County and has a proven track record of fiscal responsibility and working hard for his constituents.”

These three endorsements are one of many results of our yearlong grassroots campaign, where Marc has traveled to many communities in the 8th district and met with sheriffs and other citizens concerned about the future of the country. “I am honored to earn the support of such exceptional public officials,” said Savard. “County Sheriffs are on the front lines every day keeping us safe and watching out for us as we lead our daily lives.
